How I extinguish a candle and prepare it for the next use.
I always have a large fingernail/toe clipper around the candles. I use to the put the candles out with. I use the file tool to push the wick into the wax after I blow the candle out. This stops the smoking and it puts a coat of wax on the wick to protect it. Don’t leave it in the wax pull it back into a straight up and down position for the next use. Once I want to light the candle again, I use the clipper side and trim it back down to the recommended height. Ensure you only use the clippers on the candle; it will no longer be for hygiene purposes after trimming a candle.

If your candle does not smell as strong as it did before.
I find that if I burn the same fragrance a few days in a row. That it seems not to be as strong as when I first light it. Well I think you get used to it and need to take a small break. Let the candle sit for a few days and try another fragrance for a while. When you come back to one of your favorite fragrances it will be just as strong as you remember. I know that because I burn all my fragrances before you even see them on the website. (As for the wickless candles - expect them to have a scent through for the same amount of time as the candles with a wick. Also once the candle is completely melted turn off the warmer for longer life of the candle. The wax will not go away.)

How to clean up Soy Wax?
First make sure the candle is out as soon as possible. Second if you can clean it with warm water and soap as soon as the spill happens; it comes right up. If it has sat for a while use a blow-dryer on the cool wax and let it warm up again take a paper towel pat it dry. Again clean it with warm water and soap after most of the wax is gone.
