The top row of flags are Service Flags. Service Flags are
representative of a family member being deployed to an area of turmoil. The Gold
star represents a service members death in a combat zone. A blue star represents
a service member that is deployed to a combat zone. More than one star gold or
blue represents a family with multiple family members. The above names (Black letters: Deployed, Red:
"KIA" Killed In Action,
Blue: "MIA" Missing In Action) are people that I know or are the
friends and loved ones of people that I have met along the path of life. This is my way
of honoring my fellow comrades. I will soon retire, and turn over a new leaf of
life. I will always have their names and faces in my mind and on my heart. It does not matter in
what you believe, they are there standing a post for our freedom. Keep them in
your prayers and on your minds all the day long. Please forward me your family
and friends names so we can honor them also.
God bless America and our GI's.
